🌿 Live with your teacher – Authentic immersion to unlock your Spanish

This 5C Immersion is much more than a course: it is personal transformation through language. During one week you will experience Spanish through:

  • CONFIANZA. Confidence — helping you speak without fear
  • CALMA. Calm — a natural environment that supports deep learning
  • CALIDAD. Quality — fully personalized lessons focused on what you truly need
  • CURIOSIDAD. Curiosity — awakening discoveries and new questions
  • CORAZÓN. Heart — connecting language with emotion and people

“Live with your teacher” creates that connection through daily coexistence, real conversations and close interaction. You feel supported, understood and motivated.

The 5C Immersion is designed with care and warmth: your teacher actively guides you, listens to you and walks beside you.

🫑 Why in Padrón?

Experiencing life in Padrón means immersing yourself in one of Galicia’s most privileged corners, known for its mild climate, lush greenery, and deep connection to the origins of the Camino de Santiago. According to tradition, this is where the boat carrying the Apostle’s remains first arrived. In the Church of Santiago you can find the Padrón, the stone where the boat was moored and which ultimately gave the town its name.

In the surroundings of Santiaguiño do Monte, you can discover the place where Saint James is said to have preached, feel the spirituality of the landscape, and gain a deeper understanding of the Jacobean story. You can also visit the House of Rosalía de Castro, an essential figure of Galician literature, and explore the legacy of the Spanish Nobel Prize winner Camilo José Cela—deeply connected to this land—by visiting his Foundation and Museum, and later his tomb in the Adina cemetery, where he now rests.

Here you can enjoy the wonderful botanical garden, considered one of the earliest in Spain. Covering roughly one hectare, it preserves around 300 species—there are even giant sequoias to admire! Very close to Padrón lies the Herbón Convent, birthplace of the first Padrón peppers, a gastronomic symbol that forms part of the local identity.

The Rías Baixas are also just a short distance away, so we can easily slip away for a visit to a winery where albariño is produced, if that interests you. And as an added bonus, there’s a golf course very close by—close enough to walk. So if you enjoy playing golf, you can combine your language experience with a few rounds at the Val de Rois course. It currently has 9 holes, with plans to expand to 18 in the near future.

Depending on the time of year, you’ll be able to enjoy festivals, markets, and cultural activities that fill the town and its surroundings with life, making every stay unique. Every Sunday, Padrón hosts the largest open-air market in Galicia, bringing lively mornings to locals and the hundreds of visitors who make a habit of browsing the stalls before going out for tapas.

In Padrón, gastronomy—just like everywhere in Galicia—is lived in every corner: from lively tapas with friends to classic taverns where time seems to stand still. During our activities, I’ll take you to my favorite places, those hidden spots only known to people who truly live Padrón from the inside: charming taverns, traditional pulperías, and the best places for tapas. We’ll also discover the authentic daily life of a padronés, enjoying a good charcoal-grilled churrasco or a simple but delicious menú del día full of flavor and tradition.

🏡 Charming accommodation

You will stay in a private room with its own bathroom on the upper floor of the house, ensuring both privacy and comfort. The house has heating for the winter months. It does not have air conditioning because summer temperatures in Galicia are milder than in the rest of Spain, so it isn’t necessary. However, if you need it, you can use a fan. Galicia is a true paradise in summer compared to the rest of Spain, which is why more and more people choose it as their holiday destination. And of course, it keeps all its lush greenery.

There is a short flight of stairs to access the house, and a second one to reach the floor where you’ll be staying.

The house is located in the village of Extramundi, just 1 kilometer from Padrón—about a 15‑minute walk from town—set in a charming rural environment full of nature, ideal for focusing on Spanish, disconnecting from stress, and fully immersing yourself in the language. We have a garden and a small porch with inspiring views.

In Extramundi there is a supermarket and two bars. In Padrón you’ll find all services and a wide range of bars, cafés, and restaurants. It’s a lively little town.

During the week, you’ll have a bicycle available so you can get to Padrón more quickly if you wish.

If one day you prefer not to walk, there is a taxi service.
